The "points" module determines the number of points across a straight or curvy path. It's position can be tracked With the results of the preceeding modules.
The coordinates of the first found point can be used by subsequent modules. For example, the vector module could use it as a reference point for further calculations. Thus, length, distance and angles can be determinded.
Advantages:
- Determines alignment of circle-like objects with nodges, ridges and the like
- Inspection of cogwheels, ball bearings and similair objects
- Quality control of screws, bolts, reels, spools, coils or clips
- Completeness control in packaging industry
