Caminax circle module detects and evaluates circles and circle like structures or objects over one or more ROIs ( Regions of interest, windows).
The ROIs also can be rings or circle like segments.
Diameter and roundness (eccentricity) are determined. For every ROI up to 144 nodes might be deployed. Position references from preceeding modules can be captured. The circles center-point can be used as position reference in subsequent modules.
Advantages:
- Roundness (eccentricity), diameter or both are criteria for inspection
- Goes well for drilling inspection
- Quick configuration with objects aligned in grid-structures, e.g. perfect for breadboards and stripboards
- Circles have not to be completly visible for getting measured
- All nodes can be deactivated separately: notches, joints and slots can be hidden
